QUESTION: Do you ship outside the USA?

Answer: At this time we only ship to locations within the USA and related territories, such as Hawaii and Puerto Rico. 

QUESTION: Why is shipping so expensive?

Answer: Presently shipping rates have increased due to complications resulting from the covid-19 epidemic. We use UPS Ground for all shipping because it is the most economical and fastest way to ship over-sized packages such as swords, fencing masks and fencing jackets. Also bear in mind if you order a fencing mask with another item such as a sword that must be packaged into a large size box which can accommodate both the side of the sword and the mask, this is going to be a fairly large over-sized box and increase the shipping costs appropriately. This is simply the nature of ordering over-sized packages. You must also take into consideration the weight of the objects themselves in addition to the over-sized nature of the package it must ship in. 

QUESTION: Can I place a phone order?

Answer: At this time we do not have a call center of 24/7 staff standing by phones awaiting incoming calls. All orders must be placed within our website software and they will be processed within 24 hours and prepare for shipping on the next available business day.

QUESTION: Are the swords full tang?

Answer: Yes, everything sold on Federschwert.com is considered ready for battle, and that means the swords are full tang.

QUESTION: Where are you located?

Answer: Federschwert.com is not a brick and mortar retail business. We do not have a showroom or anything like that. Products ordered through our website are shipped from a fulfilment warehouse. 

QUESTION: How long will it take items to ship?

Answer: At this time we only support UPS Ground shipping, which usually will deliver products within anywhere from 3 to 7 business days. 

QUESTION: Will I receive a tracking number for my order?

Answer: Yes, you will. A tracking number will be provided at the time the item is shipped to you.

QUESTION: I placed an order but did not get a receipt emailed to me. Where is it?

Answer: Receipts for all orders are automatically sent to the email you used to place the order. If you did not receive it to your inbox, please check your Spam folder. If using Gmail, sometimes the emails can appear in the 'Promotions' tab so please check there too. It can be a good idea to mark the email as 'Not Spam' or a promotion to ensure emails from our site go to your inbox correctly.
